      St John's Chapel is a village in County Durham, in England, at the heart of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is situated in Weardale, on the south side of the River Wear on the A road between Daddry Shield and Ireshopeburn. Weardale Cottage is situated in the village of Saint John's Chapel in Upper Weardale in the AONB of the North Pennines. The village is well served with a shop and two pubs and tea rooms. The cottage is cosy and ideal for that much needed restful break.
